Lace up for fun at our 1st Annual 5K Fun Run Fundraiser for Pierce County Explorer Search & Rescue!  We rely on fundraisers and donations from the community to run this volunteer program successfully.  The PCESAR (Pierce County Explorer Search & Rescue) program started in 1966 and is a proud legacy in Washington State and across the search and rescue community.  Bring the family down for a fun day of running for a good cause!

So Others May Live

Pierce County Explorer Search and Rescue (PCESAR) is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to locating and helping lost or injured individuals in wilderness and urban environments. In partnership with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, we provide 24/7 emergency response services, promote public safety through community education, and train the next generation of leaders in search and rescue operations.

Grounded in service, preparedness, and teamwork, our mission is to save lives—so that others may live.

PCESAR is funded entirely by donations and grants! If you would like to help please donate here!
